Project

Weihenstephan Institute

This facility, located at a university of agricultural engineering near Ansbach, is a laboratory with a modular design, supporting diverse experiments in agricultural technology. The AmberAir modular device by SALDA was selected to meet the project's needs.

Solution and System Features

  • Ventilation Requirements: The system is designed for hygienic, reliable air exchange and precise temperature control.
  • Air Output: Approximately 5,000 m³/h, with a counterflow heat exchanger for efficient heat recovery.
  • Design Fit: The side-by-side airflows result in a compact, flat structure that integrates seamlessly into its environment.
  • Fan and Control System: EC fans circulate air, while all controls are pre-wired and integrated with SALDA's control system.
  • Temperature Regulation: Controlled by a direct evaporator with 3 circuits, allowing for both heating and cooling.
  • Remote Maintenance: Modbus RTU protocol enables integration with additional laboratory components, allowing remote maintenance capabilities.
