SALDA UAB strives to remain competitive and therefore continuously invests in the development of new ventilation equipment and the renewal of existing products. One of the major problems facing the company at present is the rising energy costs and the associated financial costs. For SALDA UAB to organise its business efficiently, it is necessary to invest in cost reduction measures. It is also essential for the company to operate in a sustainable manner, following the best environmental practices and introducing technologies that are in line with these provisions. In order to address the existing problems, it was therefore decided to carry out an audit of energy, energy resources and water consumption in technological processes and installations and, based on its findings, to make targeted investments in energy saving measures. It should be noted that the company has already installed a solar power plant and is therefore convinced of the benefits of this type of energy and the advantages it creates. During the implementation of the project, SALDA UAB will install a 300 kW solar power plant, which will generate about 273 MWh of electricity per year. This investment will significantly contribute to increasing the share of renewable energy sources (RES) in the company's energy consumption balance and will promote the increased use of RES in the whole industrial sector. The project will also contribute to mitigating Lithuania's impact on climate change, tackling air pollution problems and reducing energy dependence on imported energy sources.
